Do you only build websites for businesses?
No. We build websites primarily for solopreneurs, career professionals, non profit organizations, students, and influencers in addition to businesses.

How much time does it take to build a website?
It takes us from 1 to 3 months to build a website, depending on the parameter and size of the project. A website for an individual would take about a month, while a website for a non profit requires more time.

What is SEO development?
SEO or search engine optimization is a marketing tactic that helps your website to be found on popular search engines like Google and Bing. SEO development is a great way to make your presence known on the worldwide web.

I already have a website. Can you update existing web pages?
Only if you are using one of the following platforms: Squarespace, Wix, WordPress, or Square

Do I own the rights to the website once it’s complete?
Yes. We normally include a Copywrite notice for Ratchet Nerd Group in order to secure the website design from plagiarism; however, it is not mandatory and your brand name can be used instead.

Do you build mobile-friendly websites?
Yes. We optimize each page for mobile viewing and it is included with the web design service.

Can you manage my website for me once it’s complete?
Yes. We offer web management and SEO services for those that want their website to stay up to date and regularly improve. Rates are TBD.

Are there any warranties with your websites? What if I don’t like the final product?
There are no warranties or refunds offered on our web design services but we do offer additional revisions and discounted web page updates to existing clients.

If you build my website on a different platform than I am currently using, can I use the domain name I already purchased?”
Absolutely! All we have to do is transfer the DNS, which could be an immediate changeover or take 15 minutes to an hour. During that time, either of your websites will be showing but nonetheless, there will still be a website online.

What information do you need from me in order to start building my website?

Before we begin building your website, we would need to know your business niche. We would also need a good idea of your brand image and brand voice so that we can accurately appeal to your target audience.

During your consultation (which takes about an hour) we will also discuss upcoming goals for your business, color scheme, and other operational needs. This helps us to craft the most relevant and user-friendly website for your brand.
